I was reading an article on psychology not too long ago and came across this quote:

“When we give we also receive. We should not rely on others to give back to us when we do something nice.”

It turns out, just performing acts of kindness benefit us psychologically and that can help to elevate our positive emotions.

5 Everyday Ways to Show You Care

  1. Hold open a door for someone.
  2. Compliment others.
  3. Smile.
  4. Show up on time.
  5. Have a conversation with someone, intentionally or unintentionally.
