Are you a teacher, like me? You are already in panic mode trying to prepare for the upcoming school year.
Yes, I am aware it is only, almost mid-July. For some of you on the east coast, this means you are sending your kiddos back to school in a little less than a month, or you are heading back to plan very soon.
One of the things I can get a handle on early is planning and prepping the websites I love to access, that my students love to access, that are FREE, and are all about math!
I grab my planning sheets and start recording what I know I will use and need to prep before the new year begins (and to have a plan before I receive my class list).
Recommended Math Websites:
- Common Core Sheets
- EngageNY
- Figure This!
- IXL
- Kahoot!
- Khan Academy
- Math-Aids
- Prodigy: My students eat this game for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Obsession is just the short-term word used to describe their level of commitment. Of course, there's more to it that I truly enjoy as an educator.
- Quizizz
- Splash Math
- TenMarks
One additional site I have found incredibly helpful is Embarc.online. If you are a teacher that works closely with Eureka or Engage New York, it pairs nicely. If you work with Common Core State Standards, you will also find this site helpful. It is chalked full of lesson videos, homework guides, and games!

Thank you sharing this awesome resource!! You rock!
Great resources!! My third graders LOVED prodigy last year. Obsession is right! They begged to play it even when it was asking them difficult test prep questions!
